Since 2014, the Lyceum in cooperation with the International Liaoning University (China) has been implementing the Chinese language project "Teaching Chinese as a second foreign language at the Lyceum". Starting from the 5th grade, Ust-Kut Lyceum students study two foreign languages: English and Chinese. In summer, during vacations, the guys continue studying Chinese in a profile camp, and in 2018 the work of a field camp in China was organized. The result of such activities is that Lyceum students, speaking with scientific and practical works and projects in Chinese, become winners and prize-winners of scientific and practical conferences of different levels, and in 2017 a Lyceum graduate was given the opportunity to study on a budgetary basis in Liaoning University.
